It was the start of the Covid-19 lockdown, working from home in my spare room at a small desk I found in the garage. I wasn’t prepared for it, but I adapted quickly. My workstation improved and I enjoyed the perks of not having to commute or think about a packed lunch.
Fast-forward a few months and I’m now working for myself.
Well used to working from home, I just continued. But for how long? I soon realised that I didn’t want to simply continue working for myself in a spare room for the rest of my professional life.
I wanted what I was doing – what I was starting – to become something more. And I began a journey of deciding what the best use for this new venture would be.
Welcome to THE DESIGN LAB
A space where I can share some of the knowledge, experience and expertise that I pick up along the journey, to help you in your journey of creating and forming your own place called home.
It’s early days, but stick around. All good things take time to grow.
